9.HAND-OVER OF COMPLETED BRIDGES AND DOCUMENTATION
Newly completed bridges and bridges where
major maintenace has been completed are
required to be handed over to the respective Divisions after completion of
construction work (including the defect liability period) by the Contractors. There
is a set of sequence of steps to be followed at the time of handing-over
The handing over
process comprises joint inspection, rectification or completion of outstanding
works and final joint inspection, followed by joint signing of the handing-over
document, together with submission of relevant documentation regarding the
bridge including as-built drawings and the completion report. Use the relevant
bridge inspection report forms during field inspection
