6.3.3. HIV/AIDS and Anti Human Trafficking
Significant numbers of migrant labour get involved in the construction of
roads and bridges in Nepal. Those migrant labours may be from different parts
of the country even from India. Such
migrant workers with disposable incomes often pose a significant threat to home
communities particularly in HIV/AIDS and trafficking. Therefore an HIV/AIDS
component shall be included in project activities in order to raise awareness
of these issues within the workforce and local communities, coupled with
