Step 11: Compensation Distribution and Deed / Ownership Transfer
The transfer of a deed is intended to move the ownership of some sort of
property from one entity to another. This may be from one person to another,
from one business to another or any combination of the two. A deed transfer
allows the new owner to be able to claim full rights and responsibilities to
the property in most cases. Deed transfer is crucial activity in this project.
It has certain process and procedures. The CDO shall notify the compensation
amount that is to be payable by the concerned ministry and the competent authority
of the project shall pay the amount within the stipulated time and obtain the
land ownership documents. For deed transfer, coordination shall make with
District Land Survey Office and District Land Revenue Office by the
project. Refer▬►Land Acquisition Act, section 11
